Privacy notice

BrainBloom provides knowledge lessons, quizzes and focus practice. This notice describes the current pilot. The operator’s dedicated public support address is being established; see contact status.

Guest learning

Guest scores and focus reward dates stay in this browser. You can download or clear them using “Your data, your choice” in the garden. Browser storage is not a backup and may be cleared by your device. Hosting providers still process network information needed to serve and protect the website.

Signed-in progress

Sign-in uses ChatGPT through OpenAI Sites. We receive a site-specific user ID and email. The ID links your progress across visits; your email is shown privately and is not saved in new profile records. Earlier pilot records may contain email; saving your profile clears that stored field. We store your chosen alias, XP, scores, set and award dates, streak, focus start time and leaderboard preference. We do not receive your password or payment details.

Optional public leaderboard

New profiles and earlier pilot profiles are excluded until you explicitly enable leaderboard sharing and save your profile. Only the chosen alias and learning statistics are displayed. Avoid real names, schools and contact information. Turning sharing off removes your entry from subsequent leaderboard responses; it cannot recall copies or screenshots already made by others.

Storage and service providers

Application records use Sites-managed Cloudflare D1. OpenAI provides hosting orchestration and sign-in; underlying providers may process data outside Australia. Exact hosting regions, provider log retention and backup retention are still being confirmed. Do not submit sensitive information in a display name.

Retention, access and deletion

Active application records are retained until you delete your BrainBloom data; an automatic inactivity expiry has not yet been implemented. You can download your stored data and permanently delete your profile, quiz awards and focus records from the garden. Deletion does not delete your ChatGPT account or independently retained provider logs and backups. Signing in again and saving new activity creates a new profile.

Children and families

Lessons are accessible without an account. ChatGPT account age and parental-permission requirements apply to sign-in. BrainBloom has not implemented verified parental consent or child accounts. Our intended broader family launch requires further privacy review, including hosting logs; guest access alone does not settle all children’s privacy obligations.

Advertising and tracking

BrainBloom currently adds no advertising or third-party analytics tags, sells no personal data and sends no marketing emails. Browser storage supports guest progress and provider cookies may support sign-in. Any future ads or non-essential tracking will require updated notices and the applicable age and consent controls.
